Nicolas Descottes drew from the archives of glovers and the greatest haute couture houses, Hermes, Balenciaga, Chanel, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Christian Lacroix, Christian Dior, John Galliano, Thierry Mugler, Martin Margiela, Givenchy, Lanvin, Paco Rabanne, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Courreges, Azzedine Alaia, which are overflowing with refinement and creativity towards this luxury accessory. The museums have opened their collections: The Galliera Museum, the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, the Museum of the Army, the Millau Glove Museum, The Chateau de Fontainebleau, The Renaissance Museum, the Museum of Air and Space. All preserve spectacular historical pieces. The photographer has also selected all the other kinds of gloves. The gloves of sportsmen (fencing, boxing, pelota, baseball, motorcycle, cycling, football, bobsleigh, cricket) are present through original gloves charged with emotion.
